Herb & Helen Haydock World of Beer Memorabilia Museum Grand Opening

World of Beer Memorabilia Museum to Celebrate Grand Opening June 12th and 13th

Herb and Helen Haydock, together with the Minhas family invite you to the Grand Opening of the Herb and Helen Haydock World of Beer Memorabilia Museum. This special event is scheduled for Saturday, June 12th and Sunday, June 13th from noon until 5pm at the Minhas Craft Brewery Tour Center in Monroe, Wisconsin. The museum is free of charge and open to the public. For a small fee during this Grand Opening you may sample our fine beers in the Lazy Mutt Lounge adjacent to the museum.

Herb and Helen Haydock, among the nation's foremost collectors of breweriana, will be present during the event to answer questions and share their stories. They have put together a terrific showcase of their collection for viewing here at the Minhas Craft Brewery. The display includes hundreds of mind-blowing brewery advertising artifacts including lithographs and prints from the mid-1800s up to the 1950s and 60s. Also in the collection are hundreds of cars, trucks and trains, an extensive tap handle collection, and a collection of growlers from all over the world. This truly is a “must see” for any collector of breweriana or history enthusiast.
We will also be offering our brewery tours on both Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 pm and 3:00pm. The cost of the tour is $10 and includes a tour of the brew house and the bottling plant, an opportunity to taste several of our beers on tap, as well as beers and soda and a memorabilia glass to take home!

Minhas Craft Brewery, the Oldest Brewery in the Midwest was purchased on October 3, 2006 by the brother and sister team of Ravinder and Manjit Minhas in their 20’s, making them the youngest brewery owners in the world. This was soon followed with a capital investment of over $5 million which is completed. This included building a new 50,000 square foot Warehouse & Distribution Center, installation of a State of the art Clear Malt System to produce Flavored Malt Beverages, a 24 oz can filling line, a Brewery Guest House, several new fermentation and ageing tanks, a new Silo System, a dual-stacker can packaging machine, a new Visitor Center including a Museum and Gift Store and the Lazy Mutt Lounge. They also made investments into recycling and energy conservation programs.

The Minhas Craft Brewery Tour Center and Museum is open each weekday from 8am until 5 pm, Saturdays from noon until 5 pm and during the summer (starting June 13th) on Sundays from noon until 5pm also! Tours are offered to the general public at 11 am on Monday, 1 pm Tuesday – Thursday, and both 1 and 3pm on Friday, Saturday and now Sunday (during summer months).
